The Northern York County Regional Police Department is investigating numerous reports of thefts from vehicles.  These thefts occurred between 09.25.2014 and 10.02.2014.  All thefts were from UNLOCKED vehicles.

The thefts occurred in the following areas;

Dover Township

  • 1000 block of Butter Road – Loose change
  • 1100 block of Butter Road – Handgun and personal paperwork
  • 3900 block of Bull Road – Cash

Manchester Township

  • 1900 block of Bernays Drive – Jewelry

Conewago Township

  • 3700 block of Bull Road – Loose change and cigarettes
  • 1500 block of Millcreek Road – Cash
  • First block of Mill Run Road – Change and cell phone charger
  • First block of Nursery Lane – Cell phone
  • First block of Dietz Estates Drive – Beer and GPS system

North York Borough

  • First block of East 8th Ave – Cash and loose change

It is unknown if these thefts are connected.

The Northern York County Regional Police Department reminds citizens to LOCK their cars.  None of the vehicles involved were forcibly entered.
