On 01-16-2015 at approx. 2219 hours the Northern York County Regional  Police Department responded to a call from the first block of  N. Alpine Rd in Jackson Township. The caller advised that he had arrived home from work approximately 35 min. prior to calling. He was checking his surveillance system and located a white male had attempted to open up his rear house door. The suspect appeared to be a white male, smoking a cigarette and wearing tan cargo pants and a gray hoodie. The male did not get into the home.

At 2251 hours a second caller from the first block of  N. Alpine Road advised that he arrived home after work and found that someone had entered his home and took a 50 dollar bill from a basket he had on the counter. There was no forced entry located, however the homeowner advised that items were moved and lights were on that he normally does not let on.

A resident of Summit Run Court reported that she had observed a male walking through her back yard at 2220 hours.   When she confronted the male he ran off towards the village of Nashville.

These incidents appear to be connected to similar incidents reported in the neighborhood in December.

The investigation into these incidents continues.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the Northern York County Regional Police Department at 717.292.3647 or use the crime tip reporting portion of this website.
