Attempted Robbery in North York Borough

On 02.06.2015 at 0720 hours units responded to an attempted robbery at the Dunkin Donuts located at 1312 North George Street in North York Borough.

Employees reported that a male approached the register and demanded money.  During the demand other customers came into the store and the male fled the store on foot.  The male was last seen running to the rear of the store.  No one was injured and the male did not display a weapon.

The male is described as;

  • White or Hispanic male
  • Brown Carhartt type jacket
  • Black gloves
  • Dark colored beanie hat

Further photographs will be released as they become available.

There are similarities between the subject involved in this attempt and another robbery that occurred in York City at 0730 hours.
