Three Arrested in Dover Boro Attempted Robbery

On 02.01.2015 at 2300 hours the Northern York County Regional Police Department investigated an attempted robbery in the first block of Kenray Ave in Dover Borough.

A 48 year old pizza delivery driver reported that he was attempting to make a delivery to an apartment on Kenray Ave.  Upon arriving at the address, the residence was dark and no one answered the door.  The delivery driver returned to his vehicle and observed two males enter a maroon colored sedan.  Moments later a third male appeared at his vehicle.  This male began knocking on the window of the vehicle with a dark colored handgun, the delivery driver advised he was able to drive off in his vehicle and avoid further escalation of the robbery attempt.

The delivery driver was not injured in the incident.  The suspect is described as a white male wearing a dark colored hoodie.

UPDATE:

The Northern York County Regional Police Department has arrested three individuals in relation to this crime.

  1. Marcos Ortiz-Bonilla Jr, age 19 of 223 South Ann Street in Lancaster, PA  17603
  2. Robert Joseph Merced, age 19 of No Fixed Address
  3. Edgardo Yariel Alfaro, age 18 of 313 West King Street, Lancaster, PA  17603

All three individuals are charged with the following offenses;

  • Robbery
  • Simple Assault
  • Reckless Endangerment

All three subjects were taken into custody without incident on Friday March 20, 2015.
