Naloxone Save in Conewago Township

On 09.27.2015 at 0350 hours the Northern York County Regional Police Department responded to a residence in the 300 block of Westwood Drive for a 29 year old male in cardiac arrest.  Heroin paraphernailia was located in close proximity to the male.

The Officers administered two doses of Naloxone nasal spray.  After approximately 10 minutes the subject opened his eyes.

The male was taken to York Hospital by EMS for additional treatment.

This is the sixteenth time that NYCRPD Officers have administered Naloxone.  Northern York County Regional Police Officers began carrying Naloxone on March 30, 2015.

The York County Naloxone program is sponsored by the York County District Attorney’s Office.
