Naloxone Save in Manchester Township

On 10.03.2015 at 0252 hours the Northern York County Regional Police Department responded to a motel in the 300 block of Arsenal Road for a 34 year old male in respiratory arrest.

The Officer administered two doses of Naloxone nasal spray.  A third dose was administered by responding paramedics.  The male regained consciousness prior to transport.

The male was taken to York Hospital by EMS for additional treatment.

This is the seventeenth time that NYCRPD Officers have administered Naloxone.  Northern York County Regional Police Officers began carrying Naloxone on March 30, 2015.

The York County Naloxone program is sponsored by the York County District Attorney’s Office.
