Officers Injured During Conewago Township Altercation

On 11.06.2015 at 1204 hours Northern York County Regional Police Officers were at an address in the 100 block of Locust Point Road in Conewago Township serving an arrest warrant.  The subject with the warrant was taken into custody without incident.

While serving the warrant, Officers encountered Alexander William Scott, age 23.  A large amount of drug paraphernalia was located in the room where Scott was found.  Officers began to take Scott into custody and a struggle ensued.

During the struggle Scott punched two of the Officers in the face and continued to punch and kick the Officers throughout the incident.

Two Officers sustained facial and hand injuries and two additional Officers sustained hand and leg injuries.  One of the Officers required medical treatment.

Scott was transported by ambulance to York Hospital for treatment of his wounds.

Scott will be arraigned on the following charges:

  • Aggravated Assault – 4 counts
  • Simple Assault – 4 counts
  • Resisting Arrest
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Possession of Controlled Substances
