On Tuesday November 20, 2012 the Northern York County Regional Police Board of Commissioners recognized three officers by presenting them with a Chief’s Commendation for their being named 2012 DUI “Top Guns” by the PA DUI Association. On 11.02.2012 the PA DUI Association held its annual awards banquet in State College. During the awards banquet, officers from across the Commonwealth were recognized for their achievements in DUI enforcement. Three Northern York County Regional Police Officers received the coveted “DUI Top Gun” award.
Officer Isaiah Emenheiser who has been a NYCRPD Officer since 2005 consumated 108 DUI arrests in 2011. Officer Emenheiser had the 3rd highest total of DUI arrests among honorees.
Officer Erika Eiker who has been a NYCRPD Officer since 2010 effected 52 DUI arrests in 2011.
Officer Cody Becker had 51 DUI arrests in 2011 and has been a NYCRPD Officer since 2009
On Tuesday April 17, 2012 the Northern York County Regional Police Board of Commissioners recognized thirteen members of the Department for their actions during a barricaded gunman incident that occurred on March 06, 2012 in the 900 block of East Butter Road in Conewago Township. The presentation took place at the regularly scheduled meeting of the Commission.
The thirteen Officers each received the Chief’s Commendation. The Chief’s Commendation is the Department’s third highest award. The Chief’s Commendation recognizes performance which clearly surpasses the normal requirements of one’s position.

Citizen and Officer Recognized for Life Saving Efforts
- On 02.21.2012 then Northern York County Regional Police Board of Commissioners recognized a citizen and an officer for performing CPR on a man in Manchester Township.

On 11/19/11 at 3:55 pm the Northern York Regional Police Department was dispatched to the Rutter’s Farm Store located at 509 Greenbriar Rd. in Manchester Township for a man in cardiac arrest. Ofc. Jason Greco arrived on scene to find a female giving chest compressions to an unresponsive male. Ofc. J. Greco performed an assessment of the man an found that he did not have a pulse and was not breathing. Ofc. J. Greco performed rescue breathing while the female continued with chest compressions. Through CPR the male began to breathe on his own. The man regained consciousness but was disoriented. The man was cared for until emergency medical service units could arrive on scene. The patient was a 50 year old male from York, PA. The female rescuer was a 26 year old from York, PA. The Northern York County Regional Police applaud her efforts and ability to act in times of crisis.

2011 Officer of the Year
On 02.21.2012 the Northern York County Regional Police Board of Commissioners presented Officer William Haller with the 2011 Officer of the Year Award.
