On 01.29.18 at 1613 hours the Northern York County Regional Police Department responded to the 1st block of Beaver Creek Rd. in Paradise Township for a report of a male subject being pinned underneath the bucket of a skid steer.
Responding officers located the male pinned down by the bucket portion of the skid steer. The male, identified as Shane Hockensmith (Age 30) of New Oxford, Adams County, was found to be deceased . Hockensmith was pronounced dead at the scene by a York County Deputy Coroner. Preliminary investigation showed Hockensmith was conducting excavation at a home under construction. It is unknown how Hockensmith became pinned underneath the skid steer.
