SRO Michael Hine and SRO Kevin Mengel<\/p>\n

In January 2008, in cooperation with the Spring Grove Area School District, the Northern York County Regional Police assigned a School Resource Officer\u00a0to the school district.\u00a0 In November 2018, the NYCRPD and SGASD reached an agreement to add a second SRO to the district.\u00a0 One officer has an office in the Middle School and the other officer has an office in the High School.\u00a0 Together they handle law enforcement duties at all Spring Grove Schools within the NYCRPD area.\u00a0 This effort has lead to a higher cooperative effort between the police department and the school district.\u00a0 The goal of this collaboration is to provide a safe environment for students, staff, and visitors to the school district.<\/p>\n
