The children were wearing bathing suits.\u00a0 The air temperature at the time was 55 degrees.\u00a0 The property owner had the children leave his land.<\/p>\n<p>The police located the children at home in the 5300 block of\u00a0 Blue Hill Rd.\u00a0 The children , ages 6 and 9, were in fine health.\u00a0 The only adult home was 19 year old Savannah Peterson.\u00a0 She advised that she was currently the responsible for the children while their grandfather not home.\u00a0 She had no idea that the children had left the property.<\/p>\n<p>While speaking to Savannah Peterson the police noted signs of intoxication.\u00a0 She was taken into custody and transported to the York County Booking Center.\u00a0 She was arraigned on an Endangering the Welfare of Children charge.\u00a0 Her bail was set at $5,000.00.<\/p>\n<p>The grandfather returned home and took custody of the children.\u00a0 York County Children and Youth was notified of the incident.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 04.05.20 at 11:54 the Northern York County Regional Police Department investigated a child endangerment case.\u00a0 The incident happened in the 2700 block of Ridge Rd. in Manhiem Township.
