{"id":21030,"date":"2024-03-22T08:40:50","date_gmt":"2024-03-22T12:40:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nycrpd.org\/?p=21030"},"modified":"2024-03-22T08:40:51","modified_gmt":"2024-03-22T12:40:51","slug":"shooting-investigation-in-conewago-township","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nycrpd.org\/?p=21030","title":{"rendered":"Shooting Investigation in Conewago Township"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On 03.21.24 at 1716 hours the Northern York County Regional Police Department responded to a reported shooting in the Meadow Run Mobile Home Park located at 5145 Susquehanna Trail.  Arriving officers located a 38 year old male that had suffered a gun shot wound to his left arm\/shoulder.  The male was transported by EMS to York Hospital.  He is currently in stable condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Witnesses were able to provide information on the shooter identifying him by his street name &#8220;Kato&#8221;.  &#8220;Kato&#8221; was to be a teenage male from the Philadelphia area.  &#8220;Kato&#8221; had been staying in the mobile home park for several months and after an altercation earlier in the day, was told by the victim that he needed to leave.  &#8220;Kato&#8221; left the area at an unknown time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At approximately 1715 hours, &#8220;Kato&#8221; returned to the scene with two other people in a white Dodge Durango.   A verbal confrontation ensued between the victim, &#8220;Kato&#8221;, and a female that was with &#8220;Kato&#8221;.  The confrontation escalated and &#8220;Kato&#8221; produced a black handgun, pointed it at the victim&#8217;s head, and fired.  The bullet struck the victim in the shoulder area.  &#8220;Kato&#8221; and the other occupants of the Durango fled the scene.  There is no registration information available for the vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Investigators were able to identify &#8220;Kato&#8221; as 17 year old Lysias Jesus Delgado of the 3000 block of North Hope Street in Philadelphia.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Delgado is charged as an adult with the following crimes:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Criminal Attempt Homicide<\/li>\n<li>Aggravated Assault<\/li>\n<li>Firearms not to be carried without a license<\/li>\n<li>Possession of a firearm by a minor<\/li>\n<li>Recklessly endangering another person<\/li>\n<li>Simple Assault with a deadly weapon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This incident remains under investigation.\u00a0 Anyone with information on the location of Lysias Jesus Delgado is asked to call 911 or the NYCRPD tip line at (717)467-TELL(8355) or tips@nycrpd.org.\u00a0 Reference case # 2024-011955<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 03.21.24 at 1716 hours the Northern York County Regional Police Department responded to a reported shooting in the Meadow Run Mobile Home Park located at 5145 Susquehanna Trail.
