On 06.03.2024 at 1822 hours the Northern York County Regional Police Department responded to multiple reports of shots being fired on US Rt 30 in Manchester Township.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Arriving officers found a disabled vehicle in a grassy area at the entrance to the Manchester Crossroads. The vehicle had impact damage from bullets. The driver of the vehicle was located in a nearby business. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Preliminary investigation found that the victim’s vehicle, a 2007 Kia SUV was travelling eastbound on US Rt 30 east of Breezeview Drive. A second, unknown description vehicle, also travelling eastbound began firing at the Kia. The Kia crossed over the concrete median across the westbound lanes and jumped a curb. The vehicle came to rest in a grassy area adjacent to the entrance. The sole occupant of the vehicle, a 22 year old male, was not injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The investigation closed the eastbound lanes of US Rt 30 for over an hour as officers collected evidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Investigators believe that this was a targeted attack and that driver of the Kia was the intended target.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
