On 04.02.20  at 7:05 PM the Northern York County Regional Police Department investigated a report of shots being fired in North York Borough.  The incident occurred on N. Pine St. at E. 5th Ave.

Three actors have been arrested in conjunction with this incident.  All three individuals are residents of Manchester Township.

The shooter has been identified as a 17 year old.  He is charged with Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of a Firearm by a Minor, Recklessly Endangering Another Person and Disorderly Conduct.  He received the stolen firearm from his 17 year old friend.

The friend who supplied the gun stole the gun from his father.  This second juvenile has been charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking, Receiving Stolen Property and Possession of a Firearm by a Minor.

After the shots were fired the firearm used was turned over to 21 year old Alec Bode.  After a being interviewed by the police Alec Bode turned over the weapon to the police.  Alec Bode reported that he had no idea why a juvenile asked him to hold onto a firearm and he did not ask any questions of the juvenile.  He is charged with Receiving Stolen Property, Firearms Not To Be Carried Without a License.

It has not been determined as to who or what was being shot at on the night of the incident.

On 04.02.20  at 7:05 PM the Northern York County Regional Police Department investigated a report of shots being fired in North York Borough.  The incident occurred on N. Pine St. at E. 5th Ave.

The police found two 9mm shell casings and a .22 cal shell casing at the scene.  No gunshot victims were found on scene.  There were no signs that anyone was struck by the gunfire.

Witnesses reported seeing a male wearing a gray and black sweatshirt fleeing the area right after gunshots were heard.

Surveillance video shows the pictured male hanging around the North York Borough Park on E. 5th Ave. prior to the shots.  He is then observed on video running down through the park after shots were fired.  At this point his level of involvement is unknown.
