On 05.02.21 at 2:54 AM the Northern York County Regional Police Department investigated a crash in the 5500 block of Wolfgang School Rd. in Manheim Township. On scene the police found a 26 year old female from Glen Rock, PA with a major head injury. Also on the ground was a 24 year old male from Glen Rock, PA with a severe leg injury. No vehicles were present on scene.

Through interviews the police were directed back to a residence in the 6200 block of Wolfgang School Rd. where a party occurred. They located 19 year old Elijah Winbourne of Hanover, PA.

It was discovered that Elijah Winbourne had been operating a 1997 Chevrolet Silverado pickup. He had a chain hooked to the back of his pickup truck. He was pulling a box spring and mattress set behind the truck as partygoers rode on the mattress. While negotiating a curve on Wolfgang School Rd. is when the female and male went off the mattress. The female and male went off the roadway and both struck a dangerous curve ahead road sign.

Both victims were flown via Stat MedEvac helicopter to York Hospital. Both are expected to recover from their injuries.

Elijah Winbourne fled the accident scene at returned to the party. On scene at the party the police discovered that actors had thrown the box springs and mattress on the bonfire.
