On 11.19.24 at 6:54 PM the Northern York County Regional Police Department investigated a stabbing in the 1200 block of Hanover Rd. in Jackson Township.
On scene the police found Marcus Cruz, age 24, bleeding profusely from his right thigh. Marcus Cruz reported that he had been stabbed by his twin brother, Matthew Cruz. Marcus Cruz advised that Mattew Cruz was accusing him of not returning his speaker. Marcus Cruz insisted that he had returned the speaker to Matthew.
Matthew Cruz walked a short distance from his home to Marcus Cruz’s home to confront him. Marcus Cruz met Matthew Cruz outside and a fight ensued. Marcus Cruz advised that while wrestling around he felt Matthew stab him in the leg.
The police encountered Matthew Cruz walking along the road a short distance from the crime scene. The knife used to commit the crime was seized as evidence. Matthew Cruz. Matthew Cruz was arrested for Aggravated Assault and taken to York County Prison for booking and arraignment. His bail was set at $30,000.00.
