On 02.25.25 at 12:00 AM the Northern York County Regional Police Department investigated shots fired at the Lloyd Kauffman Park located at 350 E. 5th Ave. in North York Borough. The police responded and the suspects had left the area. The police recovered five .45 caliber shell casings.
A review of surveillance video showed that the suspects arrived in a silver Honda Accord. The suspect who initially fired the handgun exited the passenger side of the Honda. He pointed the gun at a vacant wooded area and fired five rounds. He then returned and entered the passenger side of the Honda.
The gun was then pointed out a driver’s side window and several more shots were fired into the wooded area before the vehicle drove out of the park.
The suspect wearing the Central High School Varsity Club jacket drove to and from the park.
