On 03.12.26 at 6:35 AM the Northern York County Regional Police Department investigated a fatal crash in the 1700 block of Seven Valleys Rd. within North Codorus Township.
A 2025 Ford F-150 pickup truck was traveling north on Seven Valleys Rd. when it traveled into the southbound lane, for unknown reasons. The pickup truck had a head on collision with a 2024 Volvo tractor trailer that was driving south on Seven Valleys Rd.
The tractor trailer driver was a 55-year-old male from Toledo, OH. He was going to Shrewsbury, PA to pick up a load of eggs. The truck driver and trucking company cooperated with the police investigation to determine the cause of this crash.
The driver of the of the Ford F-150 was identified as 61-year-old John Gross of Glenville, PA. A York County Deputy Coroner responded to the scene and pronounced Mr. Gross dead at the scene.
