On 4/29/26 at 8:30AM the Northern York County Regional Police Department responded to the 500 block of Cedar Village Drive in Manchester Township for a report of a shooting. The initial description of the 911 call suggested that two people were fighting, and a shot was fired which prompted a substantial police response. Responding officers found no evidence that a fight occurred or shots were fired, and at this time we believe the distress call was false. Investigators are working to determine the source of the 911 call.
