On 06.25.2023 at 2142 hours the Northern York County Regional Police Department responded to the area of Baker Road and Hadley Drive in Dover Township for the report of a vehicle crash involving a motorcycle.
A motorcycle was travelling southbound on Baker Road approaching a Hadley Drive. A Chevrolet SUV was travelling eastbound on Hadley Drive was stopped at the stop sign on Hadley Drive at Baker Road. The SUV began to make a left turn onto northbound Baker Road when a collision occurred with the motorcycle.
The SUV continued off of the roadway and into an adjacent treeline. The motorcycle came to rest on the roadway.
The 30 year old male motorcycle operator and 13 year old female passenger suffered serious injuries and were transported to York Hospital by ambulance. The 13 year old passenger was subsequently flown to Hershey Medical Center where she is in critical but stable condition. The male operator was treated at York Hospital. Neither the operator nor the passenger were wearing helmets.
The 29 year old female operator of the SUV was not injured. She remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
