On 03.31.20 the Northern York County Regional Police investigated a death at the Super 8 Motel located at 40 Arsenal Rd. in Manchester Township. A 30 year old York County man was found deceased of an apparent heroin overdose.
Jennifer Grimm, age 37 from York, PA, called the death into 911 on 03.31.20 but was not on scene at the motel. J. Grimm was located and interviewed at a later date.
J. Grimm advised that she was called to the Super 8 on 03.30.20 by Lacey Weaver, age 29 from York, PA, who advised that the man had overdosed in the room. The ladies provided the man with two doses of Narcan and performed CPR. Their attempts to revive the male were unsuccessful. Neither woman called for advanced medical personnel in an attempt to save the man’s life.
Motel surveillance video was obtained from 03.30.20. The video shows L. Weaver letting J. Grimm into the room. The women enter and exit the room several times between 1:41 PM and 4:11 PM. They are seen exiting the motel while carrying travel bags. The defendants removed narcotics and evidence linking them to the room when they left the motel.
The Northern York County Regional Police Department has filed charges on two females for Abuse of Corpse and Tampering With Evidence.
