On 04.16.23 7:26 PM the Northern York County Regional Police Department investigated an assault that occurred in the parking lot of the South Elementary School. The school is located at 711 S. Mountain Rd. Dillsburg, PA, in Franklin Township.

Four teenagers reported to the police that they were hanging out in the parking lot of the elementary school. They advised that there was an unknown child riding his bicycle around in the parking lot. The teens advised they told the child to stay away from their vehicle because they thought he was going to hit their vehicle with his bicycle. The child then left the parking lot.

Approximately five minutes later the adult male, pictured in these photos, arrived in a silver Chevrolet Silverado pickup. He was angry with how the teens had spoken to the younger boy that had been riding his bicycle in the parking lot. The teens presumed that the adult male was the boy’s father. After words were exchanged the adult punched one of the male teens in the face. The teen did not suffer major injury from the punch.

The police canvassed the area but could not locate the adult male, the Chevrolet pickup, or the motorcycles pictured in the bed of the truck.

If you can identify the suspect or the vehicle you are asked to contact the Northern York County Regional Police Department at 717.467.TELL (8355) or tips@nycrpd.org.
