On 08.30.23 at 6:01 PM the Northern York County Regional Police Department investigated a fatal motorcycle crash. The crash occurred in the 2000 block of Park St. in Dover Township.
The initial investigation revealed that a sedan was turning left to travel west as it pulled out onto Park St. from a private driveway. A motorcycle travelling eastbound on Park St. struck the driver’s side of the sedan.
The motorcyclist was a 69 year old male resident of Dover Township. He was taken to Wellspan York Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries despite lifesaving efforts. The motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet.
The 28 year old male driver of the sedan and his 26 year old male passenger reported no injuries as a result of the crash. The driver is a resident of Manchester Township and the passenger is a resident of Dover Township.
