On 08.12.24 at 7:56 PM the Northern York County Regional Police Department investigated a single vehicle crash on E. Canal Rd. at Greenbriar Rd. in Conewago Township.
Donald Markle, a 63-year-old resident of North York Borough, was riding his motorcycle east on E. Canal Rd. Witnesses reported that he drifted off of the right side of the roadway. He traveled off the road and struck a tree.
Several of good Samaritans performed CPR until relieved by EMS. Donald Markle was transported to WellSpan York Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
