On 05.14.25 at 4:01 AM the Northern York County Regional Police Department investigated a shooting in the first block of New Ct. in Conewago Township. On scene the police found a 22-year-old male outside in the driveway with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. The victim reported that the person who shot him was his cousin.
The suspect reported to be inside the home. The police located and arrested Logan Evans, 22-year-old female, for shooting the suspect. The suspect’s mother, 46-yeart-old female, was also inside the residence. She was not harmed during this incident.
The victim reported that he had been drinking that evening with Logan Evans. A discussion erupted into an argument which led to the suspect retrieving her gun from her bedroom. The victim fled down a set of steps towards the basement. While fleeing the shooter fired two rounds from a Glock 43 9mm semi-auto handgun. One round hit and went through the victim. A second round lodged in a wall of the home.
Logan Evans was taken to the York County Prison for arraignment on the charges of Criminal Attempt – Homicide, Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Harassment by a Prisoner, Discharge of a Firearm into an Occupied Structure, Recklessly Endangering Another Person. Her bail was set at $250,000.00
The victim was transported via ambulance to York Hospital where he underwent surgery and is listed in critical condition.
