
The Northern York County Regional Police Department is investigating a Forgery that occurred on 12.10.25. The forgery occurred at the M&T Bank located at 425 Loucks Rd. in Manchester Township.
The suspect used the drive through and attempted to pass a forged check using a stolen driver’s license for $2,500.00. The bank teller noted that the suspect did not look like the woman pictured on the driver’s license. As the teller began to examine the photo identification the suspect fled the area in her vehicle without obtaining any money.
The owner of the check was contacted and the police learned that her checks were stolen from her vehicle in Butler County, PA back in October 2025. The identification that was used in an attempt to cash the check had been stolen just days prior to this crime here in York County.
