On 12.14.18 District Attorney David Sunday held an awards ceremony. The ceremony was held to recognize those individuals who go above and beyond what is expected to assist the District Attorney’s Office in the prosecution of crimes.
District Attorney David Sunday recognized Northern York County Regional Police Department Detective Michael Hine for his outstanding service as a detective. Det. M. Hine specializes in the investigation of sex offense crimes.
D. A. Sunday stated that Det. Hine thoroughly investigates criminal offenses but noted that one of the thing that makes Det. M. Hine a stand out is his ability to investigate and document allegations of criminal conduct that do not warrant a criminal arrest.
Det. Hine in accepting the award stated that it is a team effort when investigating sex crimes. Det. Hine thanked the District Attorney’s Office and the Children’s Advocacy Center for their assistance over the years.
