The Northern York County Regional Police Department sends our thoughts and prayers to the family of Cpl. John P. Morley (Retired) who passed away on Saturday May 9, 2026.
Corporal Morley graduated from East Stroudsburg University in 1992 and started his service with the Northern York County Regional Police on May 24, 1993.
Corporal Morley served the department as a patrol officer, field training officer, detective, fatal accident investigator, and corporal. Cpl. Morley retired in April of 2025 after 32 years with the NYCRPD.
Rest in peace, Corporal Morley. Your decades of steadfast service, leadership, courage and mentorship to younger officers will be remembered by all who had the honor to work with you.
