On 07.29.2020 at 0810 hours the Northern York County Regional Police Department was dispatched to the CVS Pharmacy located at 1700 North George Street in Manchester Township for a reported robbery.
Initial investigation found that a male entered the pharmacy area and presented a note to employees. No weapon was displayed. The male demanded controlled substances. The Pharmacist provided two bottles of controlled substances and the male fled the store on foot.
The white male was wearing a green Under Armour sweatshirt, black shorts, green Under Armour hoodie, sunglasses, and dark colored shoes.
At 0820 hours patrol officers located 29 year old Justin Tayman in the Motel 6. He matched the description of the suspect. Tayman had changed his clothing and attempted to change his appearance by cutting his hair. A search warrant was served upon Tayman’s room. The controlled substances as well as the clothing he was wearing during the robbery were recovered from his room.
Justin Tayman is at Central Booking awaiting processing and arraignment on the following charges;
- Robbery
- Theft by Unlawful Taking
- Receiving Stolen Property
- Drug Act Violations
