On 09.21.20 at 10:44 PM the Northern York County Regional Police Department investigated a report of a disorderly subject at the Wingate Hotel. The Wingate by Wyndham is located at 105 State St. in Manchester Township.

The police found a 33 year old male that had been reported as the disturbance. The male advised that a person he only knew as Brandon had stolen his book bag and car keys.

The police searched the area and located Brandon Lizotte, age 30, standing in a stairwell. The victim’s book bag was located on the ground by Brandon.

At the bottom of the steps was another book bag and a rifle case. On top of the second book bag was a half eaten sandwich. Brandon Lizotte advised the half eaten sandwich was his but he had no idea how it was placed on a book bag he knew nothing about.

Upon search of the rifle case a .22 cal long rifle was discovered. The book bag contained a handgun that had no serial number. Also contained in the bag was 132 grams of a white powdery substance which is suspected fentanyl. The powdery substance was sent to the Pennsylvania State Police Crime Lab for analysis. The victim’s stolen cell phone was located underneath the second book bag.

Brandon Lizotte was arrested and arraigned on charges of Possession of a Firearm Prohibited and Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver.
