On 10.03.23 at 6:11 AM the Northern York County Regional Police Department investigated a fatal crash at the intersection of Davidsburg Rd. and W. Canal Rd. in Dover Township.
A 2011 Volkswagen Jetta was traveling northbound on Davidsburg Rd. The Volkswagen turned left to travel westbound on W. Canal Rd. The operator of the Volkswagen turned into the path of a motorcycle that was traveling southbound on Davidsburg Rd. The motorcyclist was operating a 2000 Suzuki motorcycle.
Lifesaving efforts were performed at the scene on the motorcyclist. He was taken to York Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
The driver of the Volkswagen was a 25 year old male from Carlisle, PA. The motorcyclist was a 63 year old male from Dover, PA.
