UPDATE
On July 13, 2020, The Northern York County Regional Police Department arrested Roberto Rodriguez III (age 20 of 200 block of East Poplar Street, York) and obtained an arrest warrant for Francisco A Torres Rivera ( age 28 of 200 block of East Princess Street, York ) for the attempted homicide of Meredith Celest Wilson Keltner.
Witnesses including the victim provided information to investigators that led them to 250 East Princess Street in York. This this the last known address for Rivera and a place frequented by Rodriguez. Clothing belonging to Keltner was located in the home and witnesses indicated that Keltner left the address the morning of June 12, 2020 in a blue Mazda operated by Rodriguez and occupied by Rivera. Rodriguez and Rivera later returned to the address in the vehicle without Keltner.
A blue 2004 Mazda 3 was recovered near the 200 block of East Poplar Street. A search warrant was obtained for the vehicle. Damage to the vehicle matched parts that were left behind at the scene on Smyser Road. Further investigation of the vehicle found hair and potential blood evidence on the undercarriage of the vehicle. This evidence was as a result of the vehicle running over Keltner during the assault.
Roberto Rodriguez III was taken into custody on 07.13.2020 at NYCRPD Headquarters. He was taken to Central Booking for arraignment on the following charges;
- Criminal Attempt Homicide
- Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Homicide
