The Northern York County Regional Police Department is pleased to announce the hiring of three new police officers. The Officers were sworn in at recent Northern York County Regional Police Commission meetings.
Jack Govern, age 24, from Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Jack is a 2015 graduate of Cumberland Valley High School. He graduated from Lock Haven University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management. Jack is slated to graduate from the Harrisburg Area Community College Police Academy in September 2021.
Lyssa Pantella, age 22, from Allentown, Pennsylvania. Lyssa graduated from Lehighton Area High School in 2017. She graduated DeSales University in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. Lyssa graduated from the Allentown Police Academy in June 2021.
Matthew Martin, age 26, from Rochester, New York. Matthew graduated from Gates Chili High School in 2013. He graduated from Eastern University with a bachelor’s degree in Management and Marketing. Matthew in slated to graduate from the Harrisburg Area Community College Police Academy in September 2021.
