On 06.06.2023 the Northern York County Regional Police Department responded to the area of 79 South Main Street in Dover Borough for a report of a disturbance. A neighbor reported that a female at the address had asked her to call police.
Upon arrival, responding officers made contact with William Emilio Torres Gautier, age 42, as well as a female and two small children to the rear of the residence. While speaking to Gautier, the female was observed to be signaling for help. As officers attempted to speak to the female, Gautier intervened and pushed a section of wooden fence at officers, striking one of them. The officers took Gautier into custody after a brief struggle.
The female indicated that her mother was in the home and needed help. Officers made entry to the home and found a 67 year old female deceased in an upstairs bedroom.
Gautier was taken to Central Booking. Due to his uncooperativeness, no booking photo was obtained.
Gautier was arraigned on the following charges, he is currently in York County Prison.
