On 05.19.24 at 10:34 AM the Northern York County Regional Police Department investigated a trespasser in the 400 block of Jug Rd. in Conewago Township. The trespasser parked on Maple Run Dr. and walked into a farmer’s field. The suspect fired six shots and then returned to his red Jeep Liberty and left the area. The registration of the Jeep is unknown.
A police officer was able to walk into the field and recover six spent 9mm shell casings. The property owner was contacted and reported that they did not give anyone permission to target shoot on the property. A canvas of the area was conducted, and a video of the suspect was obtained. It is unknown what he was shooting at in the field.
