The Northern York County Regional Police Department recently added three new police officers to the department
Andrew Hackart, age 21, from Gettysburg, PA. Andrew graduated from Northern High School in 2022. He worked at Hanover Mirror and Glass before graduating from the Harrisburg Area Community College Police Academy in June 2025.
Nicholas Serrano, age 25, from Red Lion, PA. Nicholas graduated from Red Lion Area High School in 2018. He then attended Lebanon Valley College where he graduated in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Nicholas graduated from the Harrisburg Area Community College Police Academy in June 2025.
Elijah Tome, age 21, from Spring Grove, PA. Elijah graduated from Spring Grove High School in 2022. He then attended Penn State University – York where he earned an associate’s degree in criminal justice. Elijah graduated from the Harrisburg Area Community College Police Academy in June 2025.
