The Northern York County Regional Police Department welcomes the 48th Annual NSRA Street Rod Nationals East participants back to the greater York area. We applaud the efforts of the NSRA for making the event a family friendly event and holding their membership accountable for their actions.
However, this event often draws large, unruly crowds to the US Rt 30 corridor in Manchester Township and surrounding municipalities. These crowds are are in no way associated with the NSRA. Last year these crowds were responsible for widespread property damage, scattering rubbish, traffic crashes, DUIs, fights, drunkenness, and disorderly conduct.
The Northern York County Regional Police Department will be out in force to ensure the family friendly nature of this event. Traffic and parking restrictions will be in place throughout the Rt 30 corridor. Traffic and criminal violations will be strictly enforced.
We look forward to the cooperation of our citizens to make this an enjoyable event for all.
