On 02.21.23 at 1735 hours the Northern York County Regional Police Department responded to a shooting at the Days Inn located at 334 Arsenal Road in Manchester Township.
Arriving officers located a 41 year old male with a gun shot wound to the head lying in courtyard of the hotel. A second victim, a 21 year old male was located in a private vehicle leaving the area. He had a gunshot wound to one of his legs.
Both victims are being treated at York Hospital. The 41 year old male has life threatening injuries.
The suspect was described as a black male, wearing all black clothing and a facemask.
This was a targeted incident.

Update:
The Northern York County Regional Police has one offender in custody and a warrant for the second.
Marvin Slaughter, age 35 of the 900 block of Madison Ave turned himself into investigators on Thursday February 23, 2023. Slaughter is charged with the following offenses;
- Criminal Attempt Homicide
- Aggravated Assault
- Person not to Possess a Firearm
- Recklessly Endangering Another
Slaughter was arraigned before MDJ Jeff Oberdorf and committed to the York County Prison in lieu of $250,000.00 bail.
The second offender, Brian A. Jackson Jr, age 22 of the 1200 block of West Princess Street is charged with the following offenses;
- Criminal Attempt Homicide
- Aggravated Assault
- Person not to Possess a Firearm
- Recklessly Endangering Another
MDJ Oberdorf signed a warrant for Brian A. Jackson Jr.
