On 05.13.24 at 3:52 AM the Northern York County Regional Police Department investigated a burglary at Thornton Automotive – Dover. Thornton Automotive is located at 3885 Carlisle Rd. in Dover Township.
Two suspects entered the lot and smashed a window of a Chevrolet Camaro. The suspects used the Chevrolet Camaro to ram the front doors of the business. Inside the showroom of the business was a 2016 Dodge Challenger Hellcat, which the thieves also wanted to steal.
The burglars were thwarted when the Chevrolet Camaro became stuck on the front stairs and doorway of the showroom. The suspects fled the area in an unknown direction.
